Word Game.

So, somebody posts a word. When it is posted, another person goes on and changes the word, by adding/removing/changing ONE letter. You may only do one at a time, for example:

Too, remove a letter, To.

Too, add a letter, Tool.

Too, change a letter, Two.

When no other words can be made, then the last poster will start it again with a new word of their choice.

I would like to note that you should try refraining from making a word plural.

Example:

Book, add an S, Books.

This is because putting an s there will make it difficult to make another word, as well as the fact that words may NOT repeat, so:

Book, cannot go to Books, and then become Book again.

And if you're wondering about names, sure, why not.

Okay, so, I've received a few questions from Kei.

Q: Is profanity allowed?

A: No, no major profanity words. I want this to stay clean.

Q: Are acronyms allowed?

A: No acronyms.

There was also the issue of moving letters. BecauseIderpedup, hur.

Moving or switching letters is not allowed.

Who cannot become How by moving the w to the end.

Tow cannot become Two by simply switching the o and w.

5/22/13 Notes

Alright. After each new post by me, I will include a list of all the used words in the current ongoing game. I will sort them in alphabetical order, hidden in a spoiler button. But, not for the first, going on right now, since there are too many for me to currently sort out.

Spirit asked me if we'd have a page limit on this, as the words never seem to end.

My answer is simply...

No, no page limit, although, I would like to make this harder somehow as the words progress. I have a few ideas...

1. The amount of pages we are on determines the minimum letter amount you need for the word.

Yes, I know this would be hard to keep track of... So I'm not really leaning towards it. Not to mention how much harder the game would be.

2. The ability to use names will be removed after a bit of time.

This makes the game a little bit harder, but not too much, I assume.

3. Remove one ability for the remainder of the game after a while. So, I'd decide to remove one ability from adding, removing, or changing letters.

This would add a bit to the thinking, and I feel more like this would work.

I need opinions, however, so... Poll time. You can vote on one of the three, or, you can suggest something. Just leave it in a post here, along with your word that continues the game (if you have one). If you change your mind, I think vote changing is possible with the way I set it. When something is suggested, that I think is logical, I'll add it to the poll as well. Since multiple choice is allowed, if you use it, only use it for the first three options, since, logically, you wouldn't vote for a way, only to say you don't know, or don't want the game harder at all.
